THE IDEA

Strong Truths is a publishing art collective consisting of artists, writers, poets, visual artists and photographers. We are an independent book publisher joining multiple artistic creations to create collaborative artistic literature books.

Our purpose is to show the talent of youths expression; who they are to those that do not recognize their talent. Youths seem to go unnoticed, silenced because of their age and in our society lets face it youths are neglected, forgotten even. We are here to change that and in

turn allow the growth of the Strong Truths Community and through this we aim to help youths feel that art can heal them, and yet be just as powerful to others.

Strong Truths is exactly the word, the strong brutal truths of life, however from youths points of view. It is the truths of what we see through our eyes, how we feel about life and the world around us. It is everything that is never said or spoken of or what others care or dare to know.

I believe in the unknown, a beauty yet to be captured, and that to me is a true art. It is hard to say what you truly feel or show who you are to those who are directly in front of you. So what are the truths of all of us?

What’s our specialty?

• Young adult writing ages 13-29 (if you’re 29+ please email us at strongtruths@ymail.com
• Poetry & prose (preferably non-fiction but we still consider fiction.)
• Literary fiction & non-fiction (short stories: fantasy, sci-fi etc.)
• Photography (preferably emotive, conceptual, expressive, abstract & surreal, macro )
• Other visual arts (digital, painting etc.)
