LYRICS PAGE

This is a work in progress. I may start a separate category or area for lyrics of songs that contributors have written. This is more of test page to see if I will start a complete area for Lyrics. I may be getting ahead of myself but we’ll see what you guys think and how many other writers contribute to this section. I’ve always wanted to do a lyrics page (however once we had the site all up and such) and perhaps have a page for new music that you could actually listen to (unsigned artists only)…well we’ll see. Or I’ll just toss in the lyrics with the poetry…who knows.

Peculiar Hatred

*About the song (Peculiar Hatred): Whenever you get mad at someone, you think differently about a person. Even if forgive them, you’ll never forget some of the things that they said or did.

Oceans Away

sailors sing bar songs
while beer fills their cups.
They try to forget,
they’re soon leaving home.
Soon they’ll go far,
to war: where they’ll fight.
They’ll leave in the fog,
and pretend they can’t see.
The land that they’re leaving,
the wives that they love.

Now they’re oceans away,
From this town,
To a place where they know
death is eminante.

Slowly they fell,
wounded were some.
Guns proved death,
shots were fatal.
And no big surprise,
few sailors came home.

From oceans away,
They came back from-
Oceans away,
To a place they call home.

now nothing is left,
this town is in ruins.
The happiness lost,
the cups overturned.

but oceans away,
we are now happy-
oceans away,
is a place we call home.

*and this place holds our freedom,
it’s not got a name.
we know it by blue skies,
and friends from our past.
Our lives were all shattered,
our hopes lost in war.
And we won’t be in our homeland,
Cuz now we are gone*

Save Me Now

Once you’re betrayed,

Too many tragedies and adversaries.
